A TIME OF PREPARATION
We are sharing some ideas and activities that can help us together, as a community, to have a transformational Lent.
DEVELOP A LENTEN SPIRITUAL PLAN. Lent is not only about giving up; we should also start doing something. Develop a Lenten spiritual plan that includes the three main means of Lent: Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving. Get your Lenten Plan handout HERE.
WE INVITE YOU TO READ THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW. During the next two years, we would like to read together the Four Gospels. See the calendar that can help you keep track of this reading HERE.
LENT IS A GOOD TIME TO DO A GOOD CONFESSION. We wrote a brochure about confession that can help you improve your confession practice. Find it HERE.
Our Lenten Reconciliation Service will be on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. at St Michael’s.
PRAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS. Starting Friday, February 20, at 6 p.m., every Friday of Lent at St. Michael’s we will pray Stations of the Cross and then have soup together at the parish hall.
LISTEN TO THE LENTEN PREACHING SERIES ON THE ‘I CONFESS PRAYER’ – Every Sunday of Lent, we will go deeper into one of the sections of the I confess prayer (Confiteor). Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
