ARK Work of Mercy: Visiting the Sick

We will be visiting elderly residents of the Laurehurst Village assisted living facility for a social hour. 

There is an option to participate in singing songs accompanied by guitar, followed by one-on-one socializing. 

Our work of mercy will begin with breakfast following mass, a formation talk, and time to pray and prepare for our visit. We will also be going over songs in this time! 

This is a great way to start visiting someone more regularly. Many residents don’t receive frequent visitors and become isolated without one-on-one connection. 

Visiting the sick is a corporal work of mercy which provides that connection to people most in need of the presence of Jesus, and most at risk of loneliness. 

Since we will be visiting a vulnerable population, please choose to attend only if you are feeling well!
