The Mass Explained

  • St. Michael the Archangel 424 Southwest Mill Street Portland, OR, 97201 United States (map)

Through this past year's disruptions to our normal Mass rhythm, we have been invited to reflect on the centrality, significance, and meaning of the Mass in our lives as Catholics. We extend this series to provide our best response to the desires and questions that this period has occasioned, namely: What exactly is happening throughout the celebration of the Eucharist, spiritually speaking? What are the ways in which Christ is present to us in the Mass? What are the parts of the Mass, and how are they interrelated? We will host three sessions online, and we will walk through the major moments of the Mass on the final night.
